Description
Strengths
We have strong lay leadership. Many are drawn to us because of the beauty of our historic building. Our diversity by race, class, culture, and gender identity is our strength. Our commitment to social justice is an attribute. The programming we offer as outreach for children
touches over 140, largely Hispanic, children. We are a resilient community.
Challenges
Our building needs much restoration. There is a lack of participation in our Sunday School. Our participation in Sunday services is down. We are a community that reaches those who are economically wanting. As such we need to increase our stewardship.
Comments
We are looking for a Priest-In-Charge who is grounded in prayer and spiritual practices. A good candidate will lead the congregation in deep meaningful worship, be compassionate, understanding, enthusiastic, caring, humble and a good listener. We seek someone who is nurtured in the
Anglican/Episcopal traditions, yet has the expansiveness to embrace different ways of going through the world. Our community is resilient. So we will stand with you in adversity
