Description
Liturgical style and practice
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is a large parish, blessed with a variety of talent and resources. We strive to love God and one another, to grow in our faith, and to allow our faith to lead how we live our lives. We are a warm, caring, inclusive church family. Our services and programs nourish us spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Our music and the arts are transcendent. We care with our heads, hearts, and hands for our surrounding community. We seek a balance of tradition and innovation to help spread the Gospel message as far-and-wide and deeply as possible.
Strengths
St. Paul's is a program parish in the first ring of Cleveland's suburbs. It enjoys a vibrant ministry to the neighborhood and to the community of St. Paul's.
Challenges
While St. Paul's is blessed with a high new on line attendance, the in person attendance is not back to pre-covid status.
Comments
Our ideal candidate loves God, has a passion for the Gospel, thrives as part of a team, has a desire to learn and grow, and has a sense of humor. We seek a priest who has a particular passion for justice and reconciliation ministries - growing ministries beyond the church walls and inspiring parishioners to be the heart and hands of Christ. We seek a priest who is energetic, motivated, insightful, creative, flexible, organized, and who recognizes administrative work as part of our sacred duty. Skilled preaching is highly valued.
