Strengths

They have been through a conflict and used a conflict assessment and covenant team successfully. This intervention led to expanded vision of church and new members.

Sponsored a New England Evangelism Conference in the fall of 2021. Red Door Concert series for the community and supporting outreach.

Extensive food ministry with both food pantry and prepared meals.

Sponsors of the Jerusalem Peace Builders organization which brings Arab, Jewish and Christian young people together.

Challenges

Have a very large building that is historically significant to maintain.

Lay participation is very high but limits capacity to take on new ministries.

An aging congregation.

 

Comments

This one-time mission plant of St. Peter's, Bennington is willing to share the 1/3 time clergy person with St. Peter's to create a full-tie call.
