Description

Strengths

St. John’s is a Corporate Sized Episcopal Church located in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. Founded in 1956 St. John’s has a total of 608 families or 1324 individual members and an average Sunday attendance of 380. St. John’s prides itself in our sense of community and in our care for one another. We connect with one another through a number of groups and come together to worship in one of our 4 services each weekend. Many of our members are multi-generational, having grown up in the Church and many have found a fit because of our preschool, youth program, outreach ministries and small group formations. Notable among our programs is our large youth ministry program that at times can be attended by over 200 youth. This program meets on Sundays at 5pm and offers several retreats, pilgrimages, and outreach opportunities throughout the year.
