Comments
- We are St. John’s Episcopal Church Sandwich. St. John’s is a community called by
Christ to grow spiritually and make known God’s love through word and deed in our
congregation and in the broader world.
- We are a community informed by its rich heritage. The origins of St. John’s dates
back to the 1850’s.
- We welcome all people wherever they are on their faith journey.
- A Holy Cow! Consulting Survey was conducted in the Fall of 2022. We received 95
responses, a response rate of 156% of average attendance.
- The survey identified St. John’s as a “Progressive-Settled” congregation – we have a
theologically progressive philosophy, but changes to traditional worship and ministry
can be challenging.
- We have been blessed with the strong leadership of an interim rector and vestry
during this transition time.
We are looking forward to finding a rector who can help lead us spiritually to continue our
mission.
