Description

Liturgical style and practice

Broad church, two services using both our chapel and sanctuary. We have a strong choir and music program, and in the summer, enjoy outdoor worship that allows us to appreciate the natural beauty of our location on the river.

Strengths

Surrounded by natural beauty and down-to-earth people, our congregation is known for its hospitality, health, and welcome. We have vibrant children’s and youth programs. We have an ECW of over 30 members which does extraordinary ministry throughout the year. We are led by many gifed parishioners. We don’t have to twist arms to fll roles. We have never wanted for vestry, Sunday school teachers, participants in a Fall or Spring clean-up day or Rummage Sale. For over 18 years our rector has been providing fresh, engaging messages, and open, collegial leadership.

Challenges

Like many places, we are still re-emerging from the pandemic and re-building community, and seeking to sort out who we are at this moment in time.
