Liturgical style and practice

The congregation of St. Hubert’s appreciates the classic Episcopal liturgy using the Book of Common Prayer and traditional musical service delivered in a relaxed, open and “homey” atmosphere on Sundays at 8:30 and 10 a.m. It should be noted that our 8:30 service does not have live music, but there is always music in our hearts! Holy Communion is celebrated at each service with a relaxed elegance. We cycle through the different Rite II prayers of the people and Eucharistic prayers weekly. We appreciate sermons that connect the scripture to our lives today, stretch us intellectually, challenge us to think differently, and ultimately transform our hearts.

Beautiful property; deep theology and practice of stewardship; strong lay leadership; joyful congregation that finds energy in being together.

Following very long term (23 year) rector with short interim; parish is culturally shifting still from its former status as a summer chaplain to a parish.
