Description
Additional comments re: compensation, benefits and housing.
This is a unique 6-7 month Interim position between the retirement of long term rector and the next rector.
Liturgical style and practice
Broad church with elegance, over 5 Sunday liturgies. BCP and Hymnal are standard, but are supplemented with other approved resources.
Strengths
Robust congregational ministries led by laity.
Willing to take a risk in starting fresh ministries.
Above average resources in talent and finances.
Highly capable staff of paid and retired clergy; as well as an excellent lay staff.
We do a great deal of hands-on ministry, and don’t just throw money at issues or complications.
Substantial campus with a garden, excellent buildings, historical cemetery, lovely grounds.
Challenges
We are seeking an experienced priest, preferably with Interim training, for a short-term Interim role from January through summer of 2024. This priest should have healthy administrative experience in a large church or non-profit, the ability to come in and 'steer' the crew quickly and with compassion.
