Description

Liturgical style and practice

Anglo-Catholic, Broad Church, Rite II

Strengths

  • We are a flexible parish, willing to change to attain our goals. We are seeking a strong leader to set the path.
  • Leadership pledges to be welcoming and patient as you get settled in, ready to offer input and opinions about our history and future goals.
  • Most people who attend church on Sunday are involved in some other capacity at the parish. Whether it be Vestry, another committee, or some form of community ministry, our parishioners are active in our mission.
  • You will find that this group is always willing to help those who need it.

Challenges

  • Like many churches, we are an aging community. We have attracted some new families in recent years, but need a rector who will appeal to more younger members, all while still meeting the needs of our current parish population.
  • We have recently lost some key donors. We believe this is a short-term challenge and are focused on stewardship among our current members, as well as working to attract new parishioners.
