Description
Liturgical style and practice
Middle-of-the-road. Two services, first in a tiny historic chapel, followed by a service with music in the large church.
Strengths
Part-time assistant priest to help with pastoral care, and occasional preaching and celebrating. Super-helpful verger. Great visibility in the community, literally and figuratively. Last rector was a much-beloved priest, renowned for his preaching. Lutherville is just north of Baltimore, outside the Baltimore Beltway.
Challenges
Like many, many places, there's an aging population and few children since 2020's pandemic.
