Additional comments re: compensation, benefits and housing.
Calvary offers an annual starting salary of $51,863 and expenses-paid use of a four-bedroom, two-and one-half bath, 2,600-square-foot rectory on the church campus. The church pays for medical and term life insurance and the rector’s pension.
Liturgical style and practice
Calvary views itself as a traditional Episcopal church leaning toward high church in that formality is
emphasized, assistants are vested, and fine utensils are used. Services are sung or chanted only on rare occasions; however, Holy Eucharist is celebrated each Sunday. Calvary celebrates both Rite I and Rite II of the Holy Eucharist and, unlike some Episcopal churches, enjoys services of Morning Prayer.
Coivd impact and a long search with no permanent interim in place.
