All Saints is a highly relational and progressive congregation, committed to being a welcoming place to all.

From the position posting: All Saints Episcopal Church in Western Springs is searching for a full-time rector. All Saints supports its members in body, mind and spirit with Sunday services, formation for adults and Godly Play for children and numerous outreach opportunities in the wider community. The congregation is welcoming of all people, no matter what a person believes or doubts, who they love or struggle to love, or who they are or where they are in their journey of faith. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the congregation has continued to worship together and support one another via digital gatherings. The lay leadership and parishioners at All Saints are passionately committed to the church and community and work together with the rector to further the mission and ministry of All Saints

Like many congregations, this time of COVID has strained finances.

They experienced a gap in ordained leadership when the former interim left early to take a permanent call, but are now well served by an experienced interim.

The Village of Western Springs is located about 25 miles from downtown Chicago and is easily accessible via major highways and the commuter rail line, located 1.5 blocks from the church. The Village has a quaint downtown with shopping, dining, and the arts. Local schools are very highly rated, and there are many public parks and recreation areas available to all.

The Diocese of Chicago recently elected the Rev. Paula Clark, Canon to the Ordinary and Chief of Staff in the diocese of Washington, to become their next bishop. Bishop-elect Clark's consecration is scheduled for April 2021.
