Strengths

All Faith and Trinity Parishes seek a Priest-in-Charge after completing a covenant agreement between the two parishes.  Together, pooling their resources, they will operate as two parishes sharing one rector equally.  They are both located in heavily populated areas in St. Mary's and Charles couties, 40 miles southeast of Washington, DC.  Sunday services have been managed through a shared ministry of experienced, retired priests.  There are two parish rectories available, or a housing allowance.  The parishes expect the Priest-in-Charge to live in the community.

Challenges

The parishes are 7 miles apart, and have been without settled leadership for some time.  This is a new relationship; therefore, the vision and leadership of the new Priest-in-Charge will be key in the success of the new covenant relationship.
