According to the respondents to our self-study survey, our strengths include the Sunday School, stewardship, outreach, plant and property, liturgy/style of worship, music, Bible study, and lay ministries. Those asked if they would recommend St. Barnabas to a friend overwhelmingly said they would citing our warm and caring community, a spiritual and intellectual approach, a liturgy that is reverential but not doctrinaire, and high quality sermons and music.

Parishioners see programming for youth, adult Christian Education, spiritual development, increasing the number of younger people in the parish, developing the next generation of lay leaders, and adequately staffing important lay ministries as areas in which we would like to improve.
