The camaraderie within our church is testament to our diverse and accepting congregation. Active members passionately minister in our food pantry, homeless shelter, and vacation bible school. With Rowan University next door and Philadelphia nearby, we are well positioned to expand our impact in South Jersey. We strive to grow our youth population, with programs and Children’s Chapel, while recognizing the rich history of our church and its members. Tradition and innovation are both welcome.
Many would welcome an increase in the number of younger families and youth members in our congregation. Having a digital presence and maintaining technological updates is also challenging. With so many different ministries, our attention is mostly focused on space and attempting to share the common property in an effective way. Inconsistent
communication between the subgroups can cause small problems to be magnified, however we are reviewing potential solutions to address this.
Though annual budget reports indicate a church running a deficit, we are a financially and spiritually stable congregation that manages to positively impact the community through various ministries and outreach. With God’s help, we consistently work towards doing his good deeds while being respectful, open and accepting of the diverse people within our community and beyond. With the right leadership, growth and stability will continue to strengthen, and our good works will only be amplified.
