St. Paul's is a spiritually robust, financially solid parish with an active and involved laity. Our congregation is a happy group composed of all ages, and we celebrate together in traditional and contemporary services. We describe ourselves as a formally informal church; we take our faith seriously, but not ourselves. Although our historic building, crystal chandeliers and stained glass windows lend a formal appearance, as a community we have fun and try to always remain current with the times.
Our challenge is to continue along the path of more open, transparent and flexible communication within our St. Paul’s community. We wish to allocate our resources, financial and otherwise, to best serve God’s mission in a changing world. Our challenge is also to stay hopeful about the place of Christ's church in a country that grows ever more secular; to let go of needing to "do church" the way we've always done it, while maintaining our most meaningful traditions; and to continue looking to the horizon with excitement, hope and trust in God.
