Located on a major intercity street amidst four institutions of higher education, city hall, and a university medical center, with strong lay leadership and a stellar public reputation for community outreach, St. Paul's is poised to become the foremost center of faith in Camden during the city's current urban renaissance.

In order to seize the opportunities now before it to propagate faith in Camden, St. Paul's needs strong leadership from a rector who is theologically-sophisticated, politically-aware, pastorally-skilled, liturgically-adept, adequately savvy in real estate development, and sufficiently Christ-centered, prayerful, entrepreneurial, and self-sacrificing to grow our worshiping congregation and community outreach.

Our goals are to remain in our prime location to continue to meet the physical necessities of Camden's hungry, homeless, and addicted, while going much further by incorporating them and the many new residents in the city's growing "eds-and-meds" population into our community of liturgical worship and social ministry. We seek a pastor who would recognize our strong commitment to this mission and partner with us to live out our goals for the church in the city.
