Strengths

St. Paul's is a beautiful Gothic style church in the heart of historic Doylestown.  Our strengths include our many outreach programs, a focus on our youth education, and our traditional liturgical and musical traditions.  When arriving at St. Paul's, there is a feeling of coming home.

Challenges

Like many churches today, St. Paul's faces the challenge of stimulating growth in the areas of youth/adult education, generation of new membership and community awareness and involvement. We need a leader who will strongly support and participate in our ministries and inspire the entire congregation to be fully engaged in the life of St. Paul's. To accomplish this, our new Rector must be able to communicate with the parish and encourage productive dialogue among the members.

Comments

2017 will bring new opportunities to our church and new Rector. The space vacated by a pre-school will be repurposed for outreach and/or income purposes. In addition, we will endeavor to bring greater support, direction and coordination to our youth programs. Most importantly, we look forward to working with a rector who leads by example as we build the future of St. Paul's together.

Note:  Without the rectory, compensation is $86,000.
