Comments

They wrote: "St. James is blessed with a congregation of well-educated, affluent leaders, including professionals, corporate executives, and business owners with great management and financial skills. A shepherd is needed to guide them, speaking to them in terms that they can understand and providing the spiritual guidance that needs to be developed here, reflecting God's will in all that we do. We also need someone who enjoys being with young adults and children and who will fully engage with the Academy families and to be a friendly, familiar face around the campus. Generally, there is much affection and enthusiasm for the place but not a great deal of understanding of Christian mission nor the role of the laity in true ministry. A good leader will instill confidence in the congregation and encourage it to resolve its issues spiritually, as well as practically."
