Strengths

St. Bart’s strength lies in our trust in God. Air-conditioned and solar-paneled, we are located in suburban Cherry Hill, NJ. Our good fellowship is reflected by our Deacons, the Altar and Flower Guilds, Circle of Prayer, Prayer Shawl Ministry and  Music Program. The Men’s Group, ECW, and Thrift Shop support Outreach.  Boy Scouts, AA groups, New Hope Presbyterian Korean Church and Christ Assembly of God  all meet here. A Long Range Planning Committee envisions our future.

Challenges

Building membership and affirming our Youth are our priorities. We are strengthening our Youth Formation Program. To improve communication, we use email, Church Bulletins, St. Bart’s Facebook  age, The Bugle (our newsletter), and the Diocesan website.  We would like to strengthen our presence in a dense suburban population.   We are also focused on  upgrading our sound system, improving  Wi-Fi throughout our building, and the ever-present duties of mending our aging infrastructure.

Comments

We are a welcoming, loving, caring and diverse congregation.  We are a broad church with innovative liturgy which keeps our services interesting.  Our communion services have expanded to Saturday evening and Wednesday morning in addition to our 8AM and 10AM Sunday services.  We will have our 60th anniversary in 2021 and are planning to celebrate.
