Strengths

Chartered in 1765, St. Andrew’s is an integral part of the Mt. Holly area, bearing witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our historic, well-maintained, and beautiful church is a Jubilee Ministry Center and is centrally located to facilitate outreach and service, including hosting community recognition services: AL-ANON, community dinners, collection drives, and yoga. Lay ministries include ECW, Men’s Club, Choir, Prayer and Healing Ministry, LEM’s, LEV’s, Lectors, Altar Guild, and St. Vincent de Paul. Our church’s endowment is
valued at over $3M which enables us to share the Good News. We are a vibrant church that enjoys the fellowship of our friends and family members and welcomes all those who walk through its doors.

Challenges

Like most churches, our challenges are those of membership. The first challenge is perfecting a method of attracting members with younger families. The second challenge is providing the necessary instruments for keeping our current base involved and engaged to ensure they are vested in St. Andrew’s on a consistent basis.

Comments

St. Andrew’s is a well-established, stable church with a committed core of participants. We are seeking an outgoing and dynamic leader eager to assist us in finding new ways to grow while providing guidance on steering our church community into the foreseeable future. This direction will be in harmony with both long term and new members helping to provide a great foundation. We are open to new ideas and changes and want to be a great place for members of the Mt. Holly community to come and worship God and feel part of the Episcopal Church.
