We are diverse in many ways (political outlook, age, tenure, income level), inclusive, and welcoming. We respect and like each other, despite our differences. The parish includes many hard-working, loyal parishioners who have consistently risen to the occasion when special committees and projects are required.

Our church and attached parish house together make up a large, beautiful space situated in a picturesque neighborhood. We attract interest from the surrounding area for worship and community programs. The building is well maintained and has had some major upgrades within the last decade.

The previous rector left to become Dean of the Cathedral in Buffalo; his predecessor left when elected Bishop of Long Island. The parish values competent, intelligent, collegial leadership. .

We need more formation opportunities, particularly some that focus on stewardship, woven into preaching and program offerings. We need to increase the level of engagement of our members, having a higher percentage take part in our ministries and formation activities. Giving of our time and self, not just our money, needs emphasis.

There is a desire for fellowship opportunities, in order to form meaningful relationships with others in the parish community. We need to broaden the ways in which we seek new members.

And, we need to continue to strengthen our ability to communicate, using whatever tools are available to us.
