Note: I've taken "challenge" literally, which is to say these really are challenges, not problems.
Stewardship: Despite dropping from 350 to 304 pledge units, their campaigns have led to a 30% increase in average pledge amount, so operating revenue has stayed fairly steady.
Large Staff: Their next rector should be adroit at hiring, managing, mentoring and mediating.
Long-Tenured Previous Rector: Their previous rector served for 22 years. They have had a 2-year interim period with a very capable interim.
Their next rector should be an experienced priest who is a capable big-system administrator, support children/youth ministry.
Holy Comforter's priorities for its next rector...

Liturgy, "Virginia High": We'd refer to Holy Comforter as "Virginia High Church", which is what most dioceses would consider Broad Church with High Church elements.
