Strengths

Beautiful facilities in good shape. Solid, small community, one hour northeast of Baltimore. Close to the Conowingo Dam and bald eagles.

The position is 3/4 time rector; 1/4 time executive director of the Wilson Center, a community center which helps the elderly and those in need. See the web page for both: www.gracedarlington.org and www.wilsonministrycenter.org

Challenges

Long-time senior warden stepped down (but still very active in congregation). As of this writing, no one has stepped up.

Vestry is new at oversight of Wilson Ministry Center, but this has been successful during the interim.

Comments

Vestry elected a new rector, who--due to a new family concern--could not come. So position re-opened August 2017
