Grace is a joyously progressive faith community whose liturgy blends the contemporary with the traditional. Participation of all kinds, particularly in the area of music, is one of our strengths. Collaboration with other area faith communities is likewise a priority for us, particularly in our outreach efforts. We hope for a rector who is energetic and flexible, embraces variety, and is compassionate in ministry.

Grace has just recently entered into a conversation with St. Alban's Episcopal Church, its sister parish in NE Ft. Wayne. Although St. Alban's has a similar profile in terms of finances, it's particular strengths lie in areas of evangelism and youth.

Because collaboration is in the very, very early stages, with an announcement going out to the full parishes on September 23, they are seeking a priest who is excited by the prospect of exploring the many possibilities with both congregations.

As a progressive faith community in a diocese that is moving away from its conservative past, we are being challenged to think of ourselves as something other than "the resistance." This is a good place to be, and as we adjust to this more supportive environment, we hope to see greater growth.
