Gifts we're praying for in our next Rector:

We envision our future leader as a welcoming person who is supportive of diversity and inclusion of all. Our leader should be capable of offering support and comfort to parishioners in the event of: spiritual questioning or growth, personal trouble, marriage, birth of a child, death of a loved one, medical emergency, or chronic illness. Our leader should have the skills to preach a weekly sermon based on scripture, which is joyful, relates to our life today, that incorporates personal stories, is concise and inspires us to action. We also desire a leader who has up-to-date computer skills and is able to stay connected with parishioners through virtual platforms when necessary. Good Shepherd seeks a leader who is willing to partner and support the parish in the ministries that are ongoing and thriving. We would highly value a good sense of humor in our future rector.
