The largest parish of the Diocese of Michigan, Christ Church Cranbrook is composed of close to 2,000 members. We are a vibrant, dynamic, and growing church with a long tradition of liturgy, spirituality, music, and catalytic work in mission and outreach. The congregation celebrated its ninetieth anniversary last year, marking the generous gift of the Booth family, who also gifted Cranbrook Educational Community to the community, a premiere boarding school and neighbor to the church in beautiful Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

The next Associate Rector will be the fourth member of our talented clergy team and is a dynamic, energetic priest who is looking to live into her/his call at a lively congregation. This person will also be excited about the possibilities of ministry in metro-Detroit and supportive of engaging the surrounding diverse communities. Experience in leading different areas of ministries in other parishes is a plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package in accordance with Episcopal Diocese of Michigan guidelines, including 5 weeks of paid leave (5 Sundays), professional development leave, and 3 months sabbatical after 7 years.
