Located in suburban residential Philadelphia, Church of the Holy Apostles is a dynamic, strong, welcoming, inclusive, committed, caring and spiritually aware congregation. The southeastern region of Pennsylvania is rich in history, culture, and education, but also deals with many of the same issues confronting other urban areas.  Though small in size, congregants are committed to and involved in many forms of community outreach. Love and caring for others is a central theme of our congregation. In order to flourish we seek a rector who will provide us with new insights that will support and lead us into a strong and sustainable future.   We strive to service God as good stewards of our time and talents.  Three years ago we undertook a succesful capital campaign, "Building Our Future" that allowed us to complete several projects, repairs and renovations, the largest of which was replacement of a 60+ year old tile roof.  We own our beautiful buildings as well as a nearby rectory in one of the top rated school districts in Pennsylvania. As a congregation we feel blessed to have an endowment and very limited debt.

We seek a rector who is a servant leader, one who will support our traditions while collegiality guiding us into the future as we serve Christ. Our parishioners come from a wide range of professions, incomes, ages and religious backgrounds. Over the last 10 years our parish has aged somewhat.  Like many churches today, we face the challenge of generating new membership and of stimulating growth in youth/adult education.  We would like guidance in making our parish more attractive to young families.  We want to achieve our goal of financial security.

Compensation without housing is 73500.
