Job Summary:
The Canon for Congregational Vitality and Formation supports the congregations of the Diocese through the development and formation of congregational leaders, both lay and ordained. Working closely with the Congregational Development Commission, the Canon for Congregational Vitality and Formation provides training events and consultations that introduce and enhance leadership skills and congregational renewal and vitality.

This individual will have experience in communications, facilitation and problem-solving in creative and innovative ways, and excel at nurturing cross-organization relationships to accomplish program, mission, and organizational goals. Program development and management and event planning experience is a plus. This individual must also have experience working across various cultural contexts, especially with underserved and underrepresented populations in the Episcopal Church. Given the needs and the demographics of the Diocese, fluent Spanish speakers preferred.
