St. Andrew’s is a parish that is unified in being a welcoming, open, and inclusive spiritual home to all.  Parishioners are a caring community that strives to promote Christian fellowship and serve God through worship, outreach, personal example, and respect for others.  Our parish members come from all walks of life and this diversity makes for a strong group of caring parishioners.

We have key activities ranging from music/choir to altar guild to a small building committee to lay ministry to pastoral care.  We have yearly confirmation classes with an average of 4-7 teenagers and our church school is fortunate to have volunteers teaching on a monthly basis.  We strongly believe in outreach and have many activities that we contribute to.

Vestry members have been parish members ranging from 50+ years to less than 5 years.  Business, non-profit, higher education, engineering, entrepreneurs and retired individuals are on the vestry.  The vestry works well together and conducts full and open discussions about all topics.

The parish has two challenges:

1) Financial - while the parish is able to cover its expenses, for the 2017 budget (and prior 5 years) the pledge income has declined.  This is the driving factor for a half-time rector position.

2) Building Issues - we are currently getting estimates for building repairs including a new roof, sill, select windows and other items.
